Today I would like to introduce you to the Cajun food company called Louisiana Crawfish Co. based out of the great state of Louisiana. This company has been in business since 1985 and is famous for having the best-tasting Louisiana Crawfish, the best prices with excellent delivery service, and their customer service just can't be beat!
When you shop at Louisiana Crawfish Co. you will find live crawfish, boiled crawfish, all natural crawfish, bait crawfish, crawfish tails, Cajun meats/boudin, alligator and turtle meat, Cajun samplers, gulf shrimp, king cakes, Turducken, Louisiana foods, spices, seasonings and so much more!
My Review: The great folks over at Louisiana Crawfish Co. sent us their 10 lb. Party Pack Fresh Boiled Crawfish to review for all of you. This party pack arrives to you in a styrofoam cooler with ice and includes: Mardi Gras beads, instructional booklet, 10 lbs. of fresh boiled Crawfish and Crawfish bibs. We also received a bottle of Louisiana Crawfish Co. Hot Sauce and a spice shaker of Louisiana Crawfish Co. Creole Seasoning.
Once your cooler arrives you will want to immediately unpack it and place your bags of crawfish into the refrigerator. If you are not going to cook them the same day, you will need to place them into your freezer. We decided to make ours that evening for dinner to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. We invited over a few friends to enjoy this special dinner with us.
The instructional booklet tells you step by step how to prepare your crawfish, so we followed each step exactly as stated. First we brought our water to a boil and once it was boiling we placed the crawfish into it and boiled them for 2-3 minutes. If you want your crawfish spicier you can add the Creole Seasoning to the water, which we did. Once they were done, we drained away the water and left them cool for a few minutes. The instructional booklet also gives you some ideas on vegetable pairings to go along with the crawfish like corn on the cob and some potatoes.
Once I had everything prepared I served the crawfish, baked potatoes and corn to my dinner guests. Some of my guests enjoyed the crawfish right from the platter, some dipped the crawfish meat into melted butter and others dipped the meat into the hot sauce. Everyone seemed to enjoy eating them a different way. The crawfish were super delicious and very meaty! We have had crawfish before, but they never tasted as fresh and as delicious as the ones from the Louisiana Crawfish Company!
Seriously, these crawfish are the BEST that we have ever had! That entire 10 lbs. was quickly devoured in less than 1 hour by 5 adult guests at our little anniversary dinner party. Matter of fact, everyone told me that they were the best that they have ever had too and asked me where I got them. I was more than happy to tell them about the Louisiana Crawfish Co.
I would love for you to go over to Louisiana Crawfish Company's web site and check out all of their delicious food items today! I think you will be very impressed with their variety of products along with their fantastic affordable prices! I would also like to invite you to follow/like Louisiana Crawfish Co on Facebook.
