Did you all know that July 26th is National Coffee Milkshake Day? I didn't know that until recently and to celebrate National Coffee Milkshake Day we have a great recipe to share with all of you from the generous folks over at KRUPS.
What’s not to love about coffee blended with a spoonful of creamy ice-cream? Even more, with KRUPS Immersion Blender, your morning java is just a buzz away. Whether it’s frappe or an affogato, a chilled glass of caffeine is bound to wake you up in this summer heat.
To celebrate, KRUPS has come up with a decadent milkshake recipe that is simple to make and difficult to refuse. Just remember you can make it decaf or a double shot to suit your jittery style.
KRUPS’ Mocha Java Milkshake Recipe
· 2 tablespoons Instant Coffee
· 1 cup Non-fat Milk
· 1 teaspoon sugar
· 1 tablespoon of chocolate powder or syrup
· 2 scoops Coffee or Vanilla ice-cream (You can also make it with frozen yogurt to cut calories)
· A few fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
** Amount of coffee can be adjusted to your taste
Directions: Add coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate powder, and ice-cream in to a large cup. Using an immersion blender, puree the mixture until smooth and creamy. Garnish your shake with a raspberry and enjoy!
