As you all know, I absolutely love to cook, baking and entertain guests here in my home. Well guess what? I am seriously considering starting my own frozen yogurt business. Seriously, I am!
I am 45 years old and my husband is 51 years old and as we have gotten older, we realized that we both were unhappy in our current career paths. We figured we are now mature and middle-aged, now is the time to take the leap into owning our own business.
We got online a few days ago and were checking out a few frozen yogurt business opportunities and so far, we really like what we see. We have been learning about site selection, equipment costs, supplier recommendations, food cost analysic and all of those important things that a business owners needs to know!
We found a really extensive ice cream shop business plan and perhaps we will totally go into that direction. We are really unsure if we want to just go with yogurt or go with yogurt and ice cream. What do you think?
We live in a big city and there are a few yogurt shops around here but I feel those shops are sub-par in their quality. I would like a down-to-earth, old-fashioned shop that families will love coming to. After all, enjoying ice cream together as a family, is great for family-bonding time!
The economy is doing great here in our area and I am thinking that it's time to seriously give this idea some thought. We are getting older and I want to start a business together within the next few years. What do you all think of this idea that we have?
