A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of reviewing some of the fabulous fish products by our great friends over at Gorton's. As part of that review a few weeks ago, I made the Gorton's Honey Mustard Beer Batter Fish Fillet Sandwiches recipe and many of my foodie blog readers have asked me to publish the recipe for them.
This recipe is really easy to prepare, only takes around 20 minutes and makes 5 servings. Great for a quick lunch or dinner. You can find additional delicious and easy-to-prepare recipes by visiting Gorton's online web site.
Gorton's Honey Mustard Beer Batter Fillet Sandwich Recipe
10 Gorton's Beer Batter Fillets
1/2 cup honey mustard
5 sandwich rolls, sliced
10 fresh tomato slices
5 lettuce leaves (we used iceberg lettuce)
Prepare Gorton's Beer Batter Fillets according to the package instructions. (We baked them in the oven). Spread half of the honey mustard on the bottoms of sandwich rolls followed by a lettuce leaf, spread remaining half of honey mustard on the cooked fillets and place 2 cooked fillets on each sandwich.
Place two slices of tomato on each sandwich followed by the remaining half of the sandwich roll. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
