Greenwich-based chef, author, and hostess extraordinaire Victoria Amory presented her all natural condiment collection at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York from June 29th to July 1st. The Victoria Amory condiment collection features three creative ketchups, include the Smokey BBQ Ketchup, chosen from over 180,000 products as one of the Smokin’ Innovations at the acclaimed food show. Inspired by the flavors and aromas of Spain's ancient and rugged La Mancha region the Smokey BBQ Ketchup includes ingredients such as Smoke Paprika, Brown Sugar, Red and White Wine Vinegar and Olive Oil.

Since its launch in January 2014, the Victoria Amory Collection is rapidly expanding its reach and is now carried in 15 states and over 150 stores across the United States. The collection which also includes three delicate mayonnaises, two peppery piri piris, and one classic romesco sauce, is designed, like all of the items in Amory's line of sophisticated comfort foods, to make elegant entertaining a no-brainer. The collection includes nine specialty condiments: Green Chili Piri Piri, Red Chili Piri Piri, Almond and Garlic Romesco Sauce, Roasted Garlic Mayonnaise, Fine Herb Mayonnaise, Classic Lemon Mayonnaise, Sherry Ketchup, Champagne Ketchup, and Smokey BBQ Ketchup, transforming the everyday meal into an effortless feast.
Recently we were sent 3 jars of these gourmet condiments to review for all of you. We decided to just try them out in basic ways so that other flavors/ingredients/condiments wouldn't interfere with them. In other words, we really wanted to see if they could stand on their own!

We hosted a backyard barbecue for the family. We tossed some hamburgers, hot dogs and brats onto the grill. Once they were done, we asked the family to pick one of the condiments we were sent for the review to try out on their sandwich.

My daughter and I decided to try out the Sherry Ketchup on our burgers and it was delicious! It doesn't taste like your standard ketchup at all...much richer with yummy flavor! It is NOT spicy at all and more on a slightly sweet side. It really made our burgers 100% better than if we had used classic ketchup!
My future son-in-law and hubby tried out the Champagne Ketchup on their brat sandwiches. They were very skeptical about trying out something other than standard condiments on their sandwiches and were pleasantly surprised that they liked it. Matter of fact, when they had seconds...their seconds also got Champagne Ketchup placed onto them! Yay!

Now my mother is a very picky eater at times and she made a grilled turkey burger (well-done) for herself. She hates beef so turkey was her choice. She put the Green Chili Piri Piri on her turkey burger which really kicked it up a notch! She said it's fully of flavor with some medium heat...nothing mouth-burning or over-whelming at all. She really loved it! Hubby decided to get in on the action and put the Green Chili Piri Piri on a grilled hot dog instead of his normal relish. He said "Wow, never going back to relish again".
