The holiday party season is almost here. Starting on Thanksgiving and rolling through New Year's Day, many of us will be attending or hosting some type of party this holiday season. At most of the parties we attend or host, alcoholic beverages are on the menu. If you love cocktails, I think you'll appreciate this recipe from our friends over at Sparkling ICE. You can find mocktail and cocktail recipes on the company's website.
Moscow Mule Recipe
1 1/2 oz. vodka
4 oz. Sparkling Ice Essence of Original
1 oz. ginger syrup (recipe below)
Juice from 1/2 a lime
Lime wedge for garnish (optional)
Fill your copper mug with ice to allow it to get it cold. Pour the vodka over the ice, add the unflavored Sparkling Ice, ginger syrup, and lime juice then stir. Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint then serve.
Ginger Syrup
2 oz. piece of ginger
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stir to dissolve sugar. Add ginger and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat, and allow the ginger to infuse for 30 minutes. Pour syrup through a finer strainer into an airtight container.

This is an interesting combination of spicy (from the ginger) and sweet added to the vodka and Sparkling Ice. I always enjoy having drinks made with Sparkling Ice.
